Ari’s Blog

Hey all, I guess this is where I’ll be writing about my side of things? Um, yea, so, I’ll try my best to be as impartial as I can when writing about what happens with the girls. But, I’ll admit, sometimes it’s pretty damn hard, since they like to force me to chose sides and all. They can both be pretty persuasive. Especially when Misha starts hitting me!

I’m glad they, quite literally, fell into my life. Things have been pretty interesting with them around. Mimi is pretty quiet and reserved, most of the time. She’s more focused on finding a way to get home than anything else. Most of the things she likes to do revolve around getting home. I don’t know if I’d call it obsessed, but, no, yes I would, she’s obsessed with getting back home and I mean, I can’t really blame her, but 5 years of non-stop research, I think I would call it a little more than obsessed, she says she’s just passionate about it.

Misha on the other hand, she’s not in as much of a hurry to get home. She’s actually pretty happy here and says she may not even go back if the chance ever comes. She has embraced life here on Earth and is even considering getting a job (FINALLY)! Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad they’re both here, but not having the only income would be pretty nice. They deny it, but I do think they sometimes use their magic to conjure money and other things they need. I know Misha does, I’ve seen her, she also admitted it when I confronted her about it. It’s Mimi who tries to hide it. Says it’s beneath her, but, I don’t know. Looking at her, you think she’s a straight arrow, but as Misha says, she’s got a not so innocent side to her. THAT I do believe, especially after seeing her take down a man twice her size. TWICE HER SIZE!! WITH NO MAGIC!! Now that’s scary! I’ll have to tell you about that some other time.

I’m pretty sure Misha could the same or worse if she wanted to, but she’s pretty much an open book, if she doesn’t like something, she’ll tell you. If her opinion differs from your’s, you better believe she’ll tell you. She’s pretty easy to read, but like I said, Mimi, she’s the one you have to watch out for. I swear, sometimes it feels like you have to walk on glass around her, like she’s a ticking time bomb, just waiting to go off. I guess it’s because she tries to present herself as older and wiser than she really is.

One thing that really sucks, though, they don’t like to talk about their world too much. Misha will talk a little bit, but Mimi likes to keep it pretty hush-hush. Wow, re-reading what I’ve writen, I’ve made Mimi out to be a real downer. She’s really not though. She’s one of the nicest, sweetest people I’ve ever met! She’s always first to help out with anything, she’s an amazing cook, she’s really good at problem solving! I don’t know many times I’ve come to her with math or scienceΒ  questions, or even just life questions, she always manages to find help me come up with an answer. More so with the math and science questions, less so with the life questions. I guess sometimes I really do forget she’s about the same age as me.

They both have their strengths and weaknesses, but when their together(and actually working together), there’s really no stopping them!

Well, this post had ended up a little longer than I thought it would and since I don’t want to give away everything all at once. Gotta leave ’em wanting more. I think I’m gonna call it a night, Mimi just finished cooking and it’s dinner time. So, I’ll try to update as much as I can, but with school, work and the girls, there’s not much time for anything else.

So, yea, bye, I guess.
